We then send you the full contact information of those who have pledged so you can collect donations from them (name, phone, email and pledge amount). We also can embed a link to a mobile checkout page or Paypal page so that those who pledge can complete the transaction right from their mobile device.
Traditional Text Message Donation Services
Traditional SMS donation services are extraordinarily costly. To purchase a short code that registers donations can easily run you into the $1000s of dollars per month, just to own or rent out the short code. In addition, with these short codes - 4, 5 or 6 digit numbers that register donations with the mobile carrier - you can only donate one set amount. You may have seen these types of services. For example, "text DONATE to 12345 to donate $5 to ABC Charity."
